Taking Congress to Task on Medicare Pay
The AAFP has rebuked the U.S. Senate for its failure to stop a potentially devastating 10.6 percent cut in Medicare physician pay that begins July 1. The cut further drives family physicians to the brink of financial insolvency, threatening access to care for elderly and disabled Americans, the Academy says in a June 27 media statement.
